Mr. President – Consider this

Mr. President, I am admittedly no diplomat; but I was born and raised in Lebanon, I became a U.S. citizen in building my own firm on Wall Street, and I have access to intelligence sources as part of my work monitoring the global oil markets that are shaped by OPEC and the Middle East.

So herewith, some candid advice from a Wall Street financier who truly cares about America’s role in the world and have been at Middle East geopolitics for a couple of decades now.

For a starter, I believe any successful strategy should consist of tackling all 10 fronts below at the same time… Anything short of that will not be effective. Indecisiveness and “leading from behind” brought us here. Our sworn enemies like Iran and its puppet Assad are not going to help us.

Child Soldiers Involved in the War in the Middle East

The primary cry of these people is that children are no threat. That we are admitting babies. Hillary Clinton said, “Turning away orphans, applying a religious test, discriminating against Muslims, slamming the door on every Syrian refugee—that is just not who we are.”  I ask what is a child? Is she talking about the 18-year-old MS13 gang members that came in with the push that allowed them to cross the Southern border because they were “children.”

The total number of child soldiers involved in the war in the Middle East is unknown. Around 200 child soldiers have been confirmed killed in action by human rights groups over the past four years and, they say, the real number is likely far higher. Moreover, younger adolescents (ages of 13 to 17), usually males, may be employed as spies, guards, or smugglers. Human rights groups say that even 14- and 15-year-old combatants are not unknown in rebel-held areas.

Want to crush ISIS?

I personally believe ISIS will never become a serious and credible state in the world.

They have made it clear that they don’t care much for international diplomacy or law  and that only Sharia can be used to govern their new state.

A fanatical force like this does well at first; they carry out brutal acts, capture swathes of land, steal, murder, rape, perform forced conversions to Islam and run a well oiled recruiting machine but this can only last for a while because sooner or later their resources are depleted and the circus over.

So you wanna crush ISIS? Better act fast and swift… Here’s a short list of their Achilles’ heal.

1. ISIS is militarily overextended and hopelessly ineffective against a trained and well equipped army. Although they’re led by a few savage Chechen’s and some Arab militants who answer to a mysterious bearded man who calls himself “Abu Bakr Al-Bagdadi”, it will take only one crushing defeat to completely demoralize their forces, who so far have only shown their prowess in gunning down heretics (Shia, Ezidi, Christians and some ethnic Turkmen), beheading children and foreigners and stealing some old military equipment left behind by the US and Russia.

Standing with Donald Trump

Israel’s wall along the Palesinian territory has reduced terror assaults dramatically. Tunisia and Israel are building walls to keep ISIS out of their countries. If there was little hope of the walls keeping out an entire army of well armed extremist fighters neither country would waste the resources to build them. Yet the primary excuse in the U.S. for not finishing the wall along the southern border is that it cannot work.

The false outrage over Donald Trump’s recent remarks about illegal immigrants were twisted to meet the desires of those crying wolf. Almost immediately three horrible crimes were laid at the feet of illegals sheltered in cities that refuse to cooperate with immigration laws or even court orders to deal with criminals as illegals.

There is a malignant will on the part of liberal politicians to keep our borders open to all comers be they murderers, rapists, or ISIS terrorists. Iran supports Mexican gangs along the border with the U.S. and has supplied gangs in the Southwest with weapons and training. Hizbollah and Hamas openly have a presence in Mexico within walking distance of the U.S. border.

Top 6 Geopolitical Predictions for 2015 – ISIS, Oil Prices

If 2014 proved anything, it’s that guessing at the state of the world a year down the line is a vain or even slightly embarrassing endeavor.

Indeed, who could have expected a year ago that Russia would take over Crimea, ISIS would break out of Al Qaeda and declare a caliphate, the US would start bombing Syria and Iraq while approaching a nuclear deal with Iran, or that Ebola would ravaged three west African countries and scare the world?

Nevertheless and being a physical commodities trader deeply involved in and abreast of world affairs I thought I’d share with you my 6 top geopolitical predictions for 2015
